Crime: Infliction of Emotional Distress. Minato's final act is a selfless one that nonetheless inflicts immense pain for his allies, who were left behind to grapple with his death. He trades his life away to rescue the world that taught him that life is worth living, causing his allies to grieve so hard they trigger a time loop.

Background: Wiki Link. The Wiki refers to him as Makoto Yuki, which was introduced as his name with the Persona 3 movies. I'll be using "Minato Arisato" though, which is his Manga name.

Personality: Unfazed, unflinching. Very little evokes any emotion from Minato. He's managed to stare death in the eye with a calm and collected demeanor. He prefers keeping a low profile and quietly goes about his own business. He's not inclined to meddle or get involved in other people's lives on his own. Instead, he's typically the one getting roped into others' lives, allowing himself to be grabbed by the wrist and toted along by those around him. In fact, when the truth about Shadows and the Dark Hour are revealed to him, alongside a request to not only join the fight against them but to lead the charge, Minato readily agrees just because he was asked. It's easy to mistake him for a doormat, but it doesn't bother him if that's the impression he gives off. Reality is, instead, much simpler than that. Minato just doesn't see any reason to decline others' requests, and he feels satisfied going with their flow.

As a result, adults might find him remarkably mature for his age. He's an expert at discerning what kinds of responses they desire from their inquiries. If they want him to be a polite young man, he's content to don that mask. If they think he's of a ruder tongue, and if brasher words would make them more comfortable, then that's what he'll offer them. Similarly, what his peers think of him varies from group to group, given Minato's talent for adapting to whoever he is speaking with. But they'll generally call him polite. They'll call him reliable, someone who always seems to know exactly what to say and do. He's not shy about sharing his thoughts and speaks bluntly. Given his quieter demeanor, some might mistake him as private or shy. Instead, Minato truly doesn't think he has anything to hide. If people aren't able to extract their desired information from him, it's because they're not asking the correct questions. Their problem, not his.

Minato is constantly observing as life unfolds around him, collecting little details about others and shelving them away for the relevant time. It's what allows him to discern the kinds of responses one might wish to hear the most, and if not, the response the person needs to hear the most. It does, however, mean he's a bit of an enabler. He's not above allowing others to meander down a bumpy road, but he'll be there to grab them by the back of their shirt if they fall. If this is pointed out, he's inclined to shrug and say he simply doesn't see any reason to not go along with others' wishes or ideas.

Despite his general agreeableness, he's not above pushing back if it's to voice something he really believes. It's during those times that his neutrality shifts. He's not afraid of very many things. As a result, he can be liable to speaking frivolously and upsetting others, and his sense of humor can get pretty macabre. Nor does Minato hold any ambition, which others might find irritating. Yet, his apathy does not originate from despair. As one who ultimately discovered the answer to life, he cares for others deeply, even if it might not be evident by his impassive expressions. The value of connections, of relationships, of fighting for a better tomorrow not for oneself but for the sake of others -- these are the things he quietly treasures. These are the things that make life meaningful. He rarely voices it though, making it easy to mistake him as cold or genuinely uncaring. But time is precious and fleeting; one must use it wisely, spending that time expanding their horizons. Minato abides by that rule, especially if asked why he allows himself to get dragged into others' shenanigans.

He readily accepts any hand dealt to him by life without batting an eye, even if it might be at the expense of his own safety or well-being. It doesn't matter how terrible it might be, though he always does his utmost to take care of those he's responsible for. Lead your fellow Persona-wielders into a battle against the manifestation of the apocalypse? No problem, so long as it's only at his own expense.

It’s that same ability to accept things simply as they are which allows him to maintain a wide circle of friends and acquaintances. His subdued personality lets him get along with practically anyone, easily discerning the best method to support them. As such, he’s a natural-born leader despite seeming the sort who prefers to observe from the sidelines. Whatever role others need him to play, he's perfectly happy to do so.

Abilities: Minato's choice of weapon is the sword. He can hold his own in a fight and is in pretty decent shape.

He is capable of summoning an entity called "Persona". In Persona 3, a Persona is an ability that some possess upon confronting and accepting their mortality. It is a physical manifestation of the mask one wears to navigate life, the sum of their personality, their thoughts, their values. Summoning a Persona requires the use of an Evoker, an item in the shape of a pistol. Calling upon a Persona consumes mental energy and can even be physically taxing if summoned repeatedly.

Minato also possesses the ability of Wild Card, allowing him to summon multiple different Personas and swap between them. He can hold up to 12 Personas. Within Edictum, he has access to the following:

Mindreading: Yes, go for it. He won't notice so you are free to take a little peek in there. It's a little spooky in there considering how he spent 10 years as a vessel for Death... Otherwise it's pretty quiet inside there. Maybe even a little too quiet...

Manipulation: Laughably easy to manipulate because he can't think of reasons not to do anything. And even if he recognizes that he's being manipulated, he might go along with it anyways just because.

Fighting: Fight threads can involve his Personas or just a good physical fight. He's decent with a sword and was part of the kendo club back in high school. Otherwise he's not afraid of using his fists if it really comes down to it.

Injury: Injury is fine with me, I just need a heads up especially if it's going to be something particularly grievous.

Killing: This probably only comes up if we've discussed it beforehand!

Canon warnings: The main one with Persona 3 is suicidal ideation and suicidal imagery. Manifesting a Persona in Persona 3 requires use of an Evoker, which resembles a pistol. It gets placed against the user's head where they pull the trigger. Otherwise it's pretty standard jrpg content warnings. I'll tag in subject lines when appropriate!

Miscellaneous: Generally, I pull his voice from the Persona 3 games, but I blend a mix of his different interpretations where appropriate.

BACKGROUND

Depending on whom one might ask, accounts about Minato’s identity vary. Most would describe him as the average high school student, albeit one with the ability to maintain friendships with wildly different people. Only a handful know that he became the Great Seal which stands between humanity’s cries for destruction and the means to its end.

He’s never thought of himself as particularly special, even with his unique ability to wield multiple Personas. He thinks nothing of unknowingly acting as the vessel of Death. Some might call his childhood tragic after learning his parents’ were killed in a terrible car accident, after having Death sealed within him and then passed from relative to relative. Minato simply considers the loss a fact of life. All things must come to an end. Not even he is immune from that rule.

But it’s not so bad. A life without regrets; a life spent learning you never truly forget the people you’ve met along the way is a life well-lived.

History/Persona 3 tl;dr I Wrote For A Game So I May As Well Put It Here (or check his Wiki Page...)

Ten years before Minato Arisato takes his first steps onto Port Island Station, Death incarnate flees from the Kirijo Group's lab. There, the group amassed Shadows to perform space and time experiments on them. Death battles with Aigis, an android created to battle Shadows, atop the Moonlight Bridge. The fight is not without any casualties. A couple and their young son were caught in the fray, their son the sole survivor. Aigis realizes that Death cannot truly be defeated. As a last resort, she seals Death within the child.

Ultimately, Minato returns to Port Island after spending several years passed from extended relative to extended relative. He enters his newest home: Iwatodai Dorm. A boy with dark hair and clad in black and white pajamas appears to him. He presents a contract: "Time never waits. It delivers all equally to the same end. I hereby agree to the statement above, and I chooseth this fate of mine own free will."

Minato signs the document.

A large Shadow attacks the dorm. Minato successfully uses an Evoker and awakens to his ability of manifesting a Persona. He is immediately recruited into the Special Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES), whose mission is to battle Shadows and eliminate the hidden hour which appears when the clock strikes Midnight: the Dark Hour. Minato is assigned as the group's field leader during their operations due to his unique ability to wield multiple Personas.

SEES' goal shifts after the group notices a large Shadow appears with every full moon. Allegedly, defeating each of these Shadows would eliminate the Dark Hour. It would eliminate the mysterious tower of Tartarus too, which takes the place of their school during the Dark Hour. But this was a lie. It instead allows the twelve Shadows to reform into Death, which then ushers in an apocalyptic event called forth by humanity's despair and desire for destruction: The Fall.

All seems lost; defeat seems nigh. Amidst that revelation, a boy named Ryoji Mochizuki walks into Minato's life. He enrolls as a transfer student and befriends Minato. His true identity, initially unbeknownst even to him, is Death and the harbinger of The Fall. After a future faceoff on the bridge, Ryoji's memories as Death return to him. Ryoji disappears, later reappearing before Minato, offering him the chance to kill him. Taking Ryoji's life would erase everyone's memories of the Dark Hour, allowing SEES to be oblivious to the impending Fall.

But Minato spares Ryoji. He cannot bring himself to kill him.

On January 31, Minato leads SEES to the top of Tartarus where Nyx will descend, ushering in The Fall. They battle against Ryoji in his true form. Even after his defeat, Ryoji calls forth Nyx to begin the Fall. Still choosing to struggle against fate, Minato ascends into the moon and battles Nyx alone. There, he recalls all the people he'd come to meet and treasure during his time at Port Island. The memories of moments spent together, of bonds formed, of people he cherished: they give him the strength to seal Nyx, averting the Fall at the cost of his life.

He manages to endure until Graduation Day, the date that SEES promised they would reunite. They reunite on the rooftop of their school as Minato takes his last breath. And though his heart had stopped, his soul lived on at the ends of the earth to hold shut the door to Nyx's prison. There he remained, bearing the weight of humanity's despair.

CHARACTER SUMMARY

The Shiba Inu is double coated, with the outer coat being stiff and straight and the undercoat soft and thick. Fur is short and even on the foxlike face, ears, and legs. Guard hairs stand off the body and are about 4 to 5 cm (1+1⁄2 to 2 in) long at the withers. The purpose of the guard hairs is to protect their underlying skin and to repel rain or snow. Tail hair is slightly longer and stands open in a brush. Their tails are a defining characteristic and make them stand apart from other dog breeds.

The cream color is considered a "major fault" by both the Japan Kennel Club and American Kennel Club. It should never be intentionally bred in a show dog, as the required markings known as "urajiro" (裏白) are not visible; "Urajiro" literally translates to "underside white". Conversely, a white (cream) coat is perfectly acceptable according to the British Kennel Club breed standard.

SUITABILITY: Minato meets the minimum age requirement of 17. He is also acutely aware of the power behind forming bonds with the people around him. It is a lesson he learns over the course of the game. The player is encouraged to deepen Minato's ties with the people around him through Social Links, and it is necessary to do so in order to fuse more powerful Personas. He would continue to do so within Golden Peacock, especially given that he died before he could truly put into practice what he'd learned regarding the value of relationships. He's never had the chance to explore his own desires and wants since he'd lived his entire life orienting himself around other people's desires. A player who wants to maximize Social Link levels is encouraged to choose dialogue responses that either agree with a Social Link character or provide a response which conforms to the character's preconceived expectations. Nor is he shy about engaging in or pursuing several relationships at once, as he has the option within Persona 3 to romance several girls at once and "spend the night" with them too. I personally write Minato as a version of the protagonist who maxed out his Social Links, including reaching max level with the girls who have their fade-to-black sex scenes. Otherwise, a second lease on life within Golden Peacock allows him to consider how he might try asserting himself within a relationship as opposed to constantly reshaping himself according to what others want. .....also it would be nice to have the chance to interact and bond with others both physically and emotionally considering how he'd committed himself to an eternity alone at the Great Seal.

HISTORY: Ten years before Minato Arisato takes his first steps onto Port Island Station, Death incarnate flees from the Kirijo Group's lab. There, the group amassed Shadows to perform space and time experiments on them. Death battles with Aigis, an android created to battle Shadows, atop the Moonlight Bridge. The fight is not without any casualties. A couple and their young son were caught in the fray, their son the sole survivor. Aigis realizes that Death cannot truly be defeated. As a last resort, she seals Death within the child.

Ultimately, Minato returns to Port Island after spending several years passed from extended relative to extended relative. He enters his newest home: Iwatodai Dorm. A boy with dark hair and clad in black and white pajamas appears to him. He presents a contract: "Time never waits. It delivers all equally to the same end. I hereby agree to the statement above, and I chooseth this fate of mine own free will."

Minato signs the document.

A large Shadow attacks the dorm. Minato successfully uses an Evoker and awakens to his ability of manifesting a Persona. He is immediately recruited into the Special Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES), whose mission is to battle Shadows and eliminate the hidden hour which appears when the clock strikes Midnight: the Dark Hour. Minato is assigned as the group's field leader during their operations due to his unique ability to wield multiple Personas.

SEES' goal shifts after the group notices a large Shadow appears with every full moon. Allegedly, defeating each of these Shadows would eliminate the Dark Hour. It would eliminate the mysterious tower of Tartarus too, which takes the place of their school during the Dark Hour. But this was a lie. It instead allows the twelve Shadows to reform into Death, which then ushers in an apocalyptic event called forth by humanity's despair and desire for destruction: The Fall.

All seems lost; defeat seems nigh. Amidst that revelation, a boy named Ryoji Mochizuki walks into Minato's life. He enrolls as a transfer student and befriends Minato. His true identity, initially unbeknownst even to him, is Death and the harbinger of The Fall. After a future faceoff on the bridge, Ryoji's memories as Death return to him. Ryoji disappears, later reappearing before Minato, offering him the chance to kill him. Taking Ryoji's life would erase everyone's memories of the Dark Hour, allowing SEES to be oblivious to the impending Fall.

But Minato spares Ryoji. He cannot bring himself to kill him.

On January 31, Minato leads SEES to the top of Tartarus where Nyx will descend, ushering in The Fall. They battle against Ryoji in his true form. Even after his defeat, Ryoji calls forth Nyx to begin the Fall. Still choosing to struggle against fate, Minato ascends into the moon and battles Nyx alone. There, he recalls all the people he'd come to meet and treasure during his time at Port Island. The memories of moments spent together, of bonds formed, of people he cherished: they give him the strength to seal Nyx, averting the Fall at the cost of his life.

He manages to endure until Graduation Day, the date that SEES promised they would reunite. They reunite on the rooftop of their school as Minato takes his last breath. And though his heart had stopped, his soul lived on at the ends of the earth to hold shut the door to Nyx's prison. There he remained, bearing the weight of humanity's despair.

ABILITIES: Minato is a Persona-user. He is effectively a summoner, calling forth entities that are the physical manifestations of the "masks" one wears to conduct themselves within society. As a "wild card" he has the ability to carry up to 12 Personas as opposed to the usual single Persona. Calling forth a Persona consumes energy, and it can only be done through the use of regaining an item called the Evoker. The entities still exist within him, but he is unable to physically manifest them without regaining his Evoker.

Within Golden Peacock, Minato would have access to the following twelve:

All Personas' world-breaking abilities will be nerfed as required. In-character, others might not even realize the amount of power his Personas originally held, given he seems to mainly hang out with them as his pals.

Personas aside, Minato is also comfortable in fighting with a sword.

VICES:

Weak sense of self. Just as water takes on the shape of its container, so too does Minato twist himself to mold according to others' needs and expectations. He looks to others for cues on how to behave or react. It isn't because he is anxious about how he is perceived, nor does he crave others' approval. Instead, he genuinely does not know how to navigate the world without orienting himself to others' purposes. Throughout Persona 3, Minato is constantly filling different niches in people's lives and stepping into whichever role that is required of him. This also means he has little to no boundaries for himself, which makes him prone to being taken advantage of or manipulated. He doesn't seem to mind though, and will even go along with other people's plans or ideas even knowing it might be to his own detriment. In fact he has a whole Social Link where he just gives money to a super sketchy salesman and another where he lets someone project the image of their estranged son onto him.

Passive. Despite being assigned "field leader" of SEES, Minato is the sort to let things simply play out without interfering. In fact, one could even argue the true "leader" of SEES was not him, but Mitsuru Kirijo. The earliest versions of Persona 3 did not allow the player to control their teammates, which I see as Minato simply letting his teammates do whatever they so chose to do. He does not have specific preferences, and he rarely voices his opinion on things to the point where he is often accused of being apathetic or even cold. He has several dialogue options where he can respond to other characters' questions indicating he does not care one way or another about what gets done. Nor does he ask any questions when he is recruited into SEES. He simply accepts the decision without much thought because he does not see the point in rejecting the request. This can land him in unpleasant or dangerous situations. Similarly, he sees no reason to question the nature of Golden Peacock or the purpose of Game 52.

Self-sacrificing. Minato is too quick to let himself bleed for others' sakes. He would throw himself in front of any danger without hesitation to keep the people he cares about safe. It does not occur to him how dire the consequences might be. Nor does he realize or consider how carving pieces of himself out to give away to others might make his loved ones feel. When weighed against others on a scale of worth, the person on the other side of the balance will always be worth more in his eyes. Relatedly, his sense of self-worth is quite poor. Perhaps it is because he was passed around as an unwanted child by his relatives, or perhaps it is because he does not fear death. Why be afraid when it was a constant companion, sealed within him from a very young age?

VIRTUES:

Even-keeled. Minato possesses the ability to remain completely calm in the the face of terrifying or overwhelming events. When trapped in a runaway train during the group's first official operation, he simply walks up to the train's control panel, glances at all the available levers, then pulls the one that seems most likely to be the brake. It helps that he's skilled at keeping his mind quiet, and is quite talented at maintaining that mental equilibrium. He isn't phased very easily, nor is he afraid of very many things. His demeanor tends to be quite stable as well, which can often help the people around him to keep a level head too. It aids with his decision-making, since he is able to remain clear-minded, methodically working through issues until he's arrived at a solution. This strategy will continue as the house tries to draw him into temptation.

Idealistic and Optimistic. Ultimately, Minato believes that people are or want to do good. He believes that, no matter what trials or tribulations might come his way, everything will eventually fall into place. It's why he doesn't get too caught up in the weeds of life, and he doesn't mind if it means others view him as naive. Near the end of Persona 3, the game offers presents Minato a dilemma: kill Ryoji Mochizuki and erase his own and his teammate's knowledge of the impending apocalypse, or allow him to live and choose to struggle against fate. He chooses the latter not only because he does not wish to kill Ryoji, but because he truly believes he and his allies can succeed in overcoming their future trials. He holds steadfast to his beliefs, and it is also why he has no reservations about doling out second or even third chances to people. Even when faced with the most dire of circumstances, he is able to keep putting one foot in front of the other because he believes things will look up someday.

Kind. Without a single ambitious bone in his body, Minato gladly elevates others while maintaining a warm heart. He's extremely altruistic and will never turn a person away if he feels he has the means to help them. And in the event that he doesn't have the ability to assist, he'll do his best to try and put the other person in a position for success. He shares what he has available as well, and does so willingly and without ever asking for anything in return. This trait cuts against the house's desire to corrupt. He is patient and steadfast about being at his friends' sides, supporting them through their own personal struggles. It is enough that he was able to lighten another person's burden, and that is as much thanks as he'd ever want. After all, he willingly offered up his life in exchange for rescuing humanity from calling forth its own end, and he continued to shield them from calling down despair up until he was pulled into Golden Peacock.

SUIT REQUESTS:
Clubs is my primary choice for Minato's suit. This would be interesting to work with since Minato has a tendency to retreat into his mind, especially during times of heightened stress. Turning that safe haven into something fraught would be a neat challenge for him. The haywire internal dialogue would trip him up a lot as well, and the hallucination aspect from the suit has some canon components to it as well. Throughout the game, a character named Pharos appears before Minato from time to time and it's revealed that he lives within his psyche. A suit activation would probably make his Personas louder in his head as well and increase their influence too, which could be fun to mess with!

Spades is my secondary choice. A large part of Minato's personal struggles is his difficulties with identity. He subconsciously denies having one as well because he's become the sort of person who always defaults to taking on different roles depending on what is necessary, so he's not used to being an individual at all. Instead of his "negative" traits manifesting, it would be more of the "hidden" aspects of his self coming to the forefront. He buries his own wants and desires because they are representations of individuality, something that he doesn't feel that he has. Spades would force this out of him by compelling Minato to confront those aspects of himself.

RANK REQUESTS: High rank would be funniest because he tries his best to avoid attracting attention to himself. He would not be pleased about the attention or being singled out as high rank which creates its own challenge at GP! Otherwise low rank would be most comfortable since he prefers flying under the radar and genuinely would not mind having a basement tier room. He doesn't need much for creature comforts so he'd be content there.

Character Questions:
1. Who is the person your character is most bonded with from their canon, or who is someone they miss the most and why?
There is no single person which Minato is most bonded with from their canon. Instead, he values each individual, each connection, and each relationship he manages to forge. However, the group of people he likely misses the most are the members of SEES. He spent the most amount of time at their sides during his final year of life spent at Port Island, and it was through them that he learned what composed a fulfilling life. They lived together at the dorms and struggled side by side against inhuman odds throughout the course of Persona 3's events. These experiences entirely reshaped Minato's opinion that life should not be spent merely awaiting one's end, but instead, it is something to be treasured and spent with those who make that life worth living.

2. What are they most afraid of and why?
Minato fears loss, which can make him reluctant to grow close to other people. He is deeply afraid of the pain that comes with mourning that loss. He cares fervently about people which makes him grieve the loss of that connection even more. Initially, this stemmed from the untimely death of his parents in a car accident. That same night, he became the vessel of Death, interring him with the knowledge that all things must come to an end. That sentiment became deeply engraved within Minato: nothing lasts forever. And if nothing can last forever, then loss is something that is to be feared.

3. What are their emotional, mental, and physical weaknesses and why?
Minato is extremely perceptive and sensitive towards other people's thoughts and feelings, but he has a very poor sense of his own. He willfully ignores his own needs and buries his own feelings too. In fact, his lack of self-awareness and self-reflection oftentimes means others need to point out that something seems to be bothering him before he can identify that feeling within himself.

His mental weakness is the fact that he accepts things at face value too readily. Minato simply does not find it necessary to delve deeper and investigate things that might seem a little off or a little strange. As a result, it can be fairly easy to manipulate him simply because he can't see any reason to decline a request or to say no.

Physically, Minato is an ordinary human which comes with all the frailty of being mortal. Though he knows how to fight and is unafraid of jumping into them, he's not particularly sturdy as someone who skews more towards a jrpg mage build as opposed to a physical one. He's also prone to fatigue which can result in him needing to nap or rest for several days.

4. What discrepancies are there between their inner self (who they feel they are) and their outer self (how they present themselves to others)?
The distant, aloof, and self-assured image Minato projects to the outer world is unintentional. He's reserved and keeps to himself, which oftentimes casts the picture of someone apathetic to the worries and woes of the world. Some might even perceive him as cold. However, the inner self is one that struggles with reaching out to others, even though the people who stop to speak with him find that Minato is fairly easy for them to talk to. He cares deeply about the people around him and humanity as a whole. There's a certain warmth to his genuine self as well, one that harbors a quiet sort of kindness. In fact, he's often a little surprised to hear that someone was caught off guard by the fact that he cared about something.

5. What would make them happiest and why?
Minato's happiness is closely tied to the happiness of those he loves. If those people could live fulfilling lives filled with joy each and every day, that would make him wholeheartedly satisfied with his own life even if it was overflowing with misfortune. In part, this is because he views himself as expendable as greatly elevates others' happiness above his own. He greatly treasures each person whom he bonds with and is often looking for ways to return the fulfillment their relationship gave him. And thus, so long as they are happy, then he will be happy too.

6. What characteristics does someone need to have to be your character's ideal significant other?
Minato's ideal significant other is one that is complementary to him and supports him through his own flaws. Therefore, they must be equal parts keen and equal parts stubborn. They must have an acute sense of reading his emotions with the ability to spot when something doesn't sit right with him. They must also be stubborn enough to confront him about it, as Minato's immediate instinct to having something pointed out about him is to close himself off and wall the person out. His ideal significant other should be patient enough to give him time to come back out of that shell, but also entirely unafraid about breaking it down if he's taking too long to get something off his chest.

7. Would your character make a sacrifice to save someone else and why or why not?
Unequivocally, yes, but with the caveat that he is the only one who needs to make that sacrifice. Minato would steadfastly reject any path that requires sacrifice from others, but he would offer himself up in a heartbeat. He refuses to believe it is fair or necessary for the people around him to give something up even if it is for the greater good, but he does not think to extend that same principle to himself. It simply does not register for him, that it might not be very fair towards him to sacrifice something. This is further displayed by his refusal to kill Ryoji Mochizuki to spare everyone from the painful knowledge of the Fall, but had no qualms with offering up his own life for the world and finding complete satisfaction in it too.

8. What is one thing they would tell their younger self if they had the chance, or if your character is young, what is one thing they would want their older self to remember?
If given the chance, Minato would encourage his younger self to be less wary of reaching out to others. The fulfillment and payoff of having known another person and being together through life's joys and life's sorrows far outweigh the grief of those moments being fleeting. Had his younger self received those words of motivation, perhaps he would have grown up to be someone whose horizons expanded far beyond those of his current self. Though Minato is generally not someone who carries regret, he does readily acknowledge that his younger self was greatly hampered by his fear of loss, and that he likely missed out on many potentially positive life experiences.

9. When in dire circumstances does your character fight, flee, freeze or fawn and how does that look?
In dire circumstances, Minato's first instinct is to freeze. Despite being designated as field leader for SEES and being decisive in a fight, he can struggle a bit in dire situations because he doesn't tend to try and take control of situations for himself. His personality also veers more towards passivity which further adds to that response, one which results in him unable to spur himself into any action whatsoever. However, once he's managed to break himself out of that freeze response (or once someone else has managed to do it for him), he'll fight all the way to the bitter end even if it may cost him his own life.

10. Why did your character make the wish they did?
Minato's greatest desire is to return all the love others have shown to him, not because he does not believe that he deserved it, but because he wishes for others to experience the same degree of fulfillment that he experienced through his relationships with them. Naturally, his wish would be that they could receive that same joy. He believes true joy cannot be decoupled from sorrow though, so it is not a wish for them to never experience sadness, but instead, to draw happiness from the feeling that they can live their lives to the fullest. Perhaps it is also a logical wish too, given that Minato arrived from a world nearly destroyed by humanity's despair and wish to end their suffering.
